We want to make you aware of a new required process designed to enhance the quality and compliance of our enrollment practices.
Wellcare is implementing a targeted enrollment verification process called the Welcome Enrollment Verification Line (WEL). This new initiative will be required of certain agents who have been identified for participation based on proprietary thresholds related to CTM volume. The objectives of this new process are straightforward and help address concerns often identified in CTM and investigation findings:
- Mitigate CTM Volume
- Confirm two key elements of the enrollment:
- The beneficiary’s intent to enroll and impact of coverage
- Confirm the provider selections
Identified agents will be notified of their required participation and will receive a link to a mandatory training video, attestation and corresponding instructions.
