Sales Compliance Reminders
- Agents must wait to receive formal Ready To Sell (RTS) notice from UCLA Health Medicare Advantage Plan prior to selling.
- RTS sent to agent via email from uclacontracting@berwickinsurance.com. Agents must not submit any applications prior to receiving a formal RTS notification.
- Agents and Uplines must never provide an agent with UCLA sales materials without first verifying RTS status on their weekly reports.
Agents & Uplines will not be compensated for unqualified sales.
Application Submission Tips
- Fax is NOT an approved enrollment submission option.
- The fax option is intended for consumers to self-enroll. A faxed in application may result in delayed commissions. Additionally, repeated faxing of enrollment applications to UHMAP may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of your contract.
- All applications must be submitted through MedicareCENTER.
- If agents collect a paper application, they must manually transfer the paper application into MedicareCENTER for submission. The paper application must then be stored for the current plan year plus 10 years per CMS regulations. Paper Application Guide
When submitting applications, be sure to enter the consumer’s full address, including apartment/unit numbers.

- Agent Level Commissions
- Payments made by carrier, New Century Health Plans (NCHP)
- Date: 3rd Friday of every month
- Overrides
- Payments made to Top of Hierarchy
- Date: 2nd Friday of the month, for the month prior
