The free 2027 Pennie Broker Certification Training is now available! You can access the training by going to this link.
All returning Pennie Certified Agents must complete this annual certification training by November 30, 2026. There will be no deadline extensions.
New Agents should follow the link and follow the outlined steps to create your Pennie and Train PA accounts and complete the necessary New Agent Certification Training Modules for Plan Year 2027.
New this year: You will not be able to immediately download your certificate following the training. Pennie will be approving certifications twice a week. Keep an eye on your email and Train PA inbox for when that approval takes place. Please allow at least five business days.
Important Notes
- The exam must be passed with a score of 80% or better to receive the certificate of completion.
- After you’ve completed your training, allow 5-7 business days for Pennie to review your account and eligibility.
- Pennie training is required in order to be commission-eligible for on-exchange enrollment; you do not need to submit your training certificate to Highmark.
- If you sell in states other than Pennsylvania, you will need to fulfill additional training requirements.
