UPDATED Producer Portal Password Reset Requirements
As part of Highmark’s continued efforts to ensure we remain vigilant in a world with increasing cyber threats, a new password policy has been created for users of Highmark’s Producer Portal.
Effective February 16, 2024, when a new password is being created for the Producer Portal, the following parameters will need to be followed:
- Minimum length of 8 characters
- Maximum length of 1,000 characters
- Should contain at least 1 lowercase letter
- Should contain at least 1 uppercase letter
- Should contain at least 1 number
- Should contain at least 1 special character excluding < > +
- Should not contain domain name (examples of domain names are highmark and highmarkbcbs)
- Should not contain the logged in user’s first or last name
Important note: You are not required to reset your password now. These changes will be effective the next time you update your password beginning February 16, 2024.
