We are writing to advise that we are discontinuing the sales of all Medicare supplement products in all states as of April 30, 2025 (ManhattanLife Insurance and Annuity Company.) Unfortunately, our current reinsurer has decided to exit the market as of April 30, 2025, and we have been unable to secure another reinsurance arrangement.
This date will also be the last day we will accept applications for processing by the home office. Any application received after April 30 will not be processed and withdrawn. This will have no effect on existing Medicare Supplement policyholders and all in-force policies will continue to be serviced as usual.
We are pursuing several avenues to have a Medicare Supplement program. We believe in the Medicare Supplement market and continue to explore multiple options to allow us to offer competitive Medicare Supplement plans in a sustainable way.
