Medicare Advantage
A Medicare Advantage Plan – such as a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) – is a Medicare health plan choice available in many counties. Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called “Part C” or “MA Plans,” are offered by private companies approved by Medicare. These products give agents the opportunity to offer their clients plans that are generally lower in price than Medicare Supplement coverage, in exchange for cost-sharing when they utilize medical services.
