Don’t miss your opportunity to earn more with UnitedHealthcare

Earn Up to $225 Per Eligible AARP Medicare Supplement Application with UnitedHealthcare

There is still time for eligible agents to earn additional cash with UnitedHealthcare.

Through its current Medicare Supplement sales incentive, UnitedHealthcare is offering agents the opportunity to earn up to $225 per eligible application for select AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans insured by UnitedHealthcare® Insurance Company.

The incentive is paid in addition to regular commissions, giving agents another opportunity to increase their earnings while helping eligible clients explore Medicare Supplement coverage.

How the UnitedHealthcare Incentive Works

Agents may earn additional cash for eligible, commissionable sales of the following AARP Medicare Supplement plans:

  • Plan F
  • Plan G
  • Plan N

To qualify, an application must be:

  • Submitted for an applicant age 65 or older
  • For an applicant residing in an eligible state or area
  • Medically underwritten
  • Commission-eligible
  • Accepted and paid
  • Submitted within the applicable incentive timeframe
  • Issued with an eligible plan effective date

Additional eligibility requirements and exclusions may apply. Agents should review the complete UnitedHealthcare incentive guidelines before submitting business under the program.

Important Incentive Dates

Eligible applications must meet both of the following timing requirements:

  • Applicant signature date: August 5, 2026, through February 28, 2027
  • Plan effective date: October 1, 2026, through March 1, 2027

Because both dates matter, agents should carefully review the applicant’s signature and requested effective dates when determining whether a submission may qualify.

Submit at Least Three Eligible Applications to Start Earning

Agents must submit a minimum of three eligible applications across the participating states or areas before they can begin earning through the incentive.

Once the minimum threshold is met, agents may receive the applicable incentive amount for qualified business, subject to the complete program terms.

UnitedHealthcare has also stated that there is no maximum limit on the number of eligible applications agents may submit during the incentive period. That means the more qualifying applications you write, the more you may be able to earn.

How Much Can Agents Earn?

Incentive payments vary by the applicant’s state or area, with agents able to earn up to $225 for each eligible application.

Before presenting or submitting an application, agents should verify:

  1. The applicant resides in a participating state or area.
  2. The selected plan is eligible for the incentive.
  3. The application will be medically underwritten.
  4. The signature date falls within the incentive period.
  5. The requested effective date falls within the eligible range.
  6. The application meets UnitedHealthcare’s commission, acceptance, and payment requirements.

Agents should consult the official incentive guidelines for the state-specific payment amounts and complete qualification details.

What Agents Should Do Next

If you are appointed and ready to sell eligible UnitedHealthcare Medicare Supplement products, consider taking the following steps:

Review the Complete Guidelines

Read the official rules before submitting business to understand the participating states, incentive amounts, payment schedule, eligibility requirements, and exclusions.

Review the complete UnitedHealthcare incentive guidelines

Identify Potentially Eligible Opportunities

Review your current book of business and upcoming appointments for clients who may be interested in a Medicare Supplement plan and are appropriate candidates for an underwritten application.

Plan recommendations should always be based on the client’s individual coverage needs, healthcare preferences, budget, eligibility, and circumstances, not on the availability of an agent incentive.

Track Your Eligible Applications

Keep a record of potentially qualifying applications, including:

  • Applicant state or area
  • Plan selected
  • Applicant signature date
  • Requested effective date
  • Application status
  • Paid status

Maintaining accurate records can help you track your progress toward the three-application minimum and reconcile any future incentive payments.

Confirm Your Ready-to-Sell Status

Before discussing or submitting an application, verify that your UnitedHealthcare appointment, licensing, and any applicable product requirements are current.
