The 2026 Individual Medicare Producer Certification for MA/MAPD/SNP & PDP launches on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Again this year, Aetna® will offer two options:
Aetna Medicare Training (AHIP alternative) and exam
Certifies producers to sell Aetna-only products.
- $0 registration fee
- This is Aetna’s AHIP alternative
AHIP Medicare Training and exam
Certifies producers to sell multiple carriers, including Aetna.
- $125 registration fee (Offered at a discounted rate if taken through the Aetna certification portal.)
- Offers three attempts
Remember, certification is an annual requirement
