Wellcare: Exclusive Early Access to Request PCP Changes – Now Available in Centene Workbench

Wellcare is proud to announce that we are expanding our service capabilities to accept PCP changes in Centene Workbench! As a special and advanced opportunity, you are part of a select group of brokers who can now request a PCP change on behalf of their client within the Centene Workbench portal. Note: For the PCP change to be processed, the requesting broker must reflect as the Broker of Record for the member’s active policy.

Requests to retroactively change the PCP effective date should be directed to Member Services, using the number on the back of your client’s member ID card. Any approved PCP change will be effective on the 1st of the following month from the date the ticket was resolved in Centene Workbench. The new provider must be in the member’s network and accepting new patients.

To process a PCP change, all required fields must be completed in their entirety.
