New Wellabe Product Opportunities Are Coming to Select States
Beginning October 1, 2026, Wellabe will introduce new and enhanced products in select states. These updates create additional opportunities for agents to help clients consider coverage for expenses that may not be addressed by their primary medical insurance.
Here is what is changing:
Hospital Indemnity Updates
Virginia
Virginia will transition to Wellabe’s enhanced Hospital Indemnity product. The updated product will give agents access to expanded base benefits and additional rider options, providing more flexibility when helping clients evaluate their coverage needs.
New Hampshire
Wellabe’s Hospital Indemnity product will become available in New Hampshire for the first time. This product is designed to help clients prepare for certain out-of-pocket expenses that may result from a covered hospital stay.
Agents can access product materials and resources through the Wellabe health portal.
Make Hospital Indemnity Matching Easier
Wellabe’s MyEasyMatch tool can help agents identify Hospital Indemnity options based on a client’s individual needs.
Agents can watch the short MyEasyMatch demo to learn how to use the tool ahead of AEP.
For additional guidance, visit the webinars page on Wellabe’s health portal to register for a live training demonstration.
Critical Illness Coverage Is Coming to Indiana
Wellabe’s Critical Illness: Cancer, Heart Attack and Stroke insurance will become available in Indiana on October 1. This gives Indiana agents another option for helping clients prepare for the financial impact of a covered critical illness.
Product materials and resources will be available through the Wellabe health portal.
Review Wellabe’s Guaranteed-Issue Offer
Eligible clients who are approved for an underwritten Medicare Supplement policy may also add a $10,000 lump-sum Critical Illness: Cancer policy without additional underwriting or medical questions.
Agents can download Wellabe’s flyer for complete details, eligibility requirements, and applicable limitations.
The Neishloss & Fleming team is here to help you review these changes and prepare to discuss the new product opportunities with eligible clients beginning October 1.
