AmeriHealth Medicare Supplement Plan Closure
Attention Agents,
This is to inform you that, beginning with April 1st, 2024 plan effective dates, AmeriHealth will be closing all Medicare Supplement plans to new enrollments. AmeriHealth will accept applications for effective dates prior to April 1st according to our current enrollment procedures.
AmeriHealth offered Medicare Supplement plans A, C, D, F, G, G-HD, and N. AmeriHealth will continue to serve members who are currently enrolled in these plans, ensuring their coverage remains uninterrupted. You will continue to receive commissions on active policies.
The decision to stop offering Medicare Supplement plans was made after careful consideration and evaluation of our product offerings. We understand that this change may impact our members, and we are committed to assisting them during this transition period. Our Customer Service team will be available to address any questions or concerns they may have.
As a friendly reminder, AmeriHealth will continue to offer a portfolio of plans to serve Medicare-eligible New Jerseyans.
