As you are aware, CMS requires compliance with call recordings and disclaimers when benefits are being discussed telephonically. Below are some reminders to help guide you through 2024.
Per CMS Guidelines:
Disclaimers must be read for any calls in which benefits are discussed.
Calls discussing benefits are to be recorded.
Beneficiaries must be notified that calls are recorded. You must retain in you records for 10 years.
